Hi!  During the week of Dec 7 to 11, we are going to celebrate computer programing, also known as coding!  As part of the ATOMS team, you will be leading the way by teaching coding to the younger grades and hosting a STAR WARS parent night on December 8th.
Our 4th grade ATOMS will teach grades 1st and 2nd.  5th Grade ATOMS will work with 3rd and 4th.  Sixth grade ATOMS will support the 5th and 6th grade classrooms that sign up for the Hour of Code activity.

So let's get started...

First, you can keep this tab up while you work through the video lesson.  This way you can pause the video, click into a new tab where you can follow the steps to signing into Code.org.

Some of you already think it's easy.  For the most part, yes!  However, PLEASE use the link for YOUR GRADE LEVEL.  So for 4th grade, use the 4th Grade ATOMS link for Code.org.  WHY?  Because the link will get you signed up into a class for a specific ATOM grade level.

Ok, let's get started.   Follow the video below, open a new tab, and get signed up and started with the new STAR WARS coding program!!!

THEN, answer the questions in the poll that follows and share your thoughts.

May the force be with you,
Mrs. T

Nov 6:  Adding a Google Sheet to an Assignment

Read Now

PictureSo much to learn!
Hello!  I hope you all have a great day.  I am learning myself and am at a conference in Orlando.  I will try checking in on your Google Classroom.
  1. Please watch the video below and follow the steps in order to add your own Google Sheet from the template I have made.
  2. Once you complete the steps, place your cup on blue and help others. If you need help, place your cup on orange.  If you are a helper, please don't touch another student's computer so the student you are helping can try on the steps.
  3. Once done, please get on iStation Reading and try to finish your monthly iSip assessment in iStation.

If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.”
