 BETC 2016:  Building 4 Room 107 from 9:45 to 11:30am


Welcome! Today we will learn the basics of app building using an on-line web portal known as AppShed.  
​
You can choose any app development program. I am familiar with AppShed and love the EDU site.

First let's sign on...

  1. We will be going to the login page at:   http://appshed.com/
  2. Add the school code:   eagleshca   
  3. Please use BETC at the front of your user name so I can add you to the class in the AppShed academy.

For today we will be working in our Andersen EDU account.  This way we can look at how you can manage student accounts if you choose.


Let's give it a go!  We are going to differentiate instruction, so you can work at your own pace.

  1. Introduction Course overview.
  2. How to progress - videos vs. paper (there is something for every learning style)
  3. How do feedback digitally to the teacher (this is why we used BETC!  Love this option).
  4. Before we jump in...How to find resources and upload them. 
  5. Let's give it a go.​
